Northern Ontario is one of the most beautiful places I have been in Canada. It is also one of the most remote places I have been in Canada. In Northern Ontario there is a town called Wawa. It is famous for having a very large statue of a Canada goose and it is also famous for supposedly having some beautiful waterfalls. We were not impressed by the waterfall that we saw there but we were impressed with the waterfall we found just off the highway around 40 minutes before we got to Wawa. So because Wawa is so remote and it really doesn’t have much to lay claim to I have given it this beautiful waterfall to add to its collection. Not actually being a citizen of Canada yet I am not sure I really have the power to do this but I have anyway.
If I was to critique this shot one thing I would say is that there needs to be more foreground interest. The image would make a perfect background for a subject closer to the camera. I did very little post processing to this shot. A little bit of selective level adjustments and some selective sharpening.
